Flodesk Changed Their Pricing — Why I’d Still Choose It Over Any Email Platform
If you’re like 99.9% of all other business owners, you’ve asked yourself the question:

And unless you’ve been living under a rock (or blissfully off the internet), you’ve probably noticed something… Every email platform is changing right now.

👉 And it feels like their features are playing musical chairs.
Which makes choosing the right email platform feel more confusing than ever.
And while yes, Flodesk changed their pricing too, they are actually the one platform out there doing it for reasons I can get behind.
So let’s talk about what that actually means…

But let me tell you, even if they didn’t, I would be shouting their platform from the rooftops (and did this before I was a partner) because I love it so, in fact, let me tell you why.
Why I Chose Flodesk in the First Place
I used to think email was HARD. I sent an email here and there, and when I didn’t see results, I assumed it didn’t work for me. Yep. Me, The Email Queen, thought email didn’t work. 🙃
Spoiler: email works for everyone.
Every platform I tried felt so technical and boring. There were so many buttons and I didn’t know what half of them did. I spent HOURS trying to manipulate an email template into something that somewhat represented my brand, but no matter what I did, at the end of the day, I just had an ugly email.
So, with a cringe, I would call it “good enough” and send it, without my full heart in it. (and then I would wonder why it didn’t work 😂)
I thought email didn’t work, but turns out, I just didn’t like how complicated and techy platforms made email feel.

For years, one of my absolute most favorite features from Flodesk was their Unlimited pricing. Basically, whether you had 10 or 10,000 email subscribers, you paid the same price.
When they announced in September 2025 that they were getting rid of this feature, I was hesitant.
But it was the WAY they announced the change that made me realize they were doing it for all the right reasons.
They gave 3 months notice of the change.
They Grandfathered every single current users into their current plan. This is basically unheard of. I actually pay the same for my Flodesk plan now that I paid in 2020 and knowing it will never go up makes budgeting in my business easy peasy.
They actually CARE about their users and their experience. And in order to scale and support their current and new users, unlimited had to eventually come to an end.
They were open, transparent, and honest about this shift. And I adore them for it.
This price change actually makes it easier to choose a plan based on how you actually use your email system… Not just how big your list is.

Why I’d STILL Choose Flodesk Over Every Other Platform
Being an email expert who helps hundreds of business owners in all kinds of businesses, I’ve seen LOTS of email platforms out there. And I’ve debated switching platforms, but when I weigh my options, I always come back to Flodesk as my number one.
Beautiful + Simple Design
Although beautiful design isn’t required for email to be successful, unfortunately my brain says: “if it ain’t pretty, I won’t use it.” (is this part of my ADHD?)
