how I fell in love with email

the $2600 email story…

After a decade as full-time wedding photographer, you would have thought I had a thriving email list… but I didn’t.

Sure, I collected email addresses, I even sent out a few emails when I had sessions to fill, but nothing ever came of it. I actually thought email didn’t work for photographers. (spoiler: I couldn’t have been more wrong)

When 2020 happened, the business we’d spent a decade building was nearly destroyed in a matter of months.

Or so I thought. On a whim, I gave email another try.

I sent one email to my list — and earned $2600!

Suddenly, I understood why everyone always says “you need a list”.

At the end of the year, I made $13k using email ALONE and saved our business.

I thought, do other business owners know about this? Why doesn’t anyone offer email writing services…? 💡

And The Email Club Co was born!
